Government says that assualt by senior Diplomat Anil Verma on his wife will be thoroughly investigated. The spokesman of the External Affairs Ministry Vishu Prakash told reporters in New Delhi that the diplomat is being recalled and the London High Commission is also trying to sort out the marital discord between Anil Verma and his wife. The spokesman asserted the Ministry has taken the issue very seriously and will deal firmly with anybody involved in domestic violence.
