The Congress today alleged there is an assault on the ideals enshrined in the Constitution which has never seen before. Briefing media in New Delhi this evening, party leader Ashwini Kumar said, there is a need to debate whether there should be an internal mechanism to ensure that the core of the Constitution is not altered. Mr Kumar said, the supposed custodians of the Constitution are questioning the protesters and not the nature of their protests.
