In Assam, CBI and Judicial Commission will also look into the matter of alleged involvement of foreign hands in the recent violence in Bodoland Territorial Area Districts, BTAD and neighboring Dhubri district. Talking to AIR, State Home Secretary G D Tripathy said that Assam government will try to find out the alleged involvements of foreign forces in the violence within its limits. Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi yesterday reiterated his stand that there were hands of external forces behind the recent communal clashes in Assam and said that the recent Home Ministry report indicating Pakistani elements behind the clashes only vindicated this. Gogoi has also instructed senior officials to prepare an action plan to deal effectively with any emergency situation. CBI is investigating seven cases of the violence. Assam government also instructed the CID to nab the rumors mongers.Meanwhile, security has been intensified to avert any untoward incident. Curfew is relaxed from 12 to 17 hours today in the violence marred areas. Special cracking teams of commandos are being pressed into services with helicopters to meet any eventuality promptly.On the other hand, people in large number took part in prayers on the occasion of Id-Ul-Fitr . Special arrangements have been made in relief camps so that the inmates can celebration holy Id with religious fervor. In Dhubri, people from other communities made all the arrangements for camps inmates. Kokrajahr, Chirang and Rangia also witnessed the age -old bond of brotherhood and harmony among various communities on the occasion of Id-Ul-Fitr.People from all walks of life hoped that the Assam would soon get over the violence,as the state had a history of amity since the days of Srimanta Sankardeva and Ajan Fakir.
