In Assam, two militants belonging to the ant-talk Ranjan Daimary faction of NDFB were killed in exchange of fire with security forces in Kokrajhar district this afternoon.The incident occurred at Bongsijhora under Parbhatjhora subdivision. Four others, including three female cadres were apprehended in the operation.<br/><br/>An army official said one Ak-56 rifles with a magazines and bullets of the AK series and one grenade were recovered from them. The militants lobbed 2 grenades. <br/><br/>The incident came after a cadre of the anti-talk Ranjan Daimary faction of NDFB identified as Ananta Brahma alias Posima was killed in a joint operation with security personnel at Amlaiguri under Salakati policein kokrajhar district late last evening around 8.45 pm.
