Assam government will launch an ambitious advertisement campaign soon to attract more tourists to the state.Noted Film Director, Jahnu Baruah has made promotional Video depicting various tourist destinations. AIR correspondent reports, Assam is one of the prime tourists destination of the country. It is the home to the famed one horned rhinoceros and other rare animal species. Apart from its natural beauty, the state has numerous historical, religious and archaeological sites. The state has also the World's smallest and largest river Island , namely Umanand and Majuli. In 2010, Assam has recorded over 40 laks of domestic and foreign travellers. Now, the tourism department is ready to beam advertisement campaign through various national and international channels to attract more people to the state
