In Assam, a one-day Special Session of the State Legislative Assembly will be held at Dispur on Monday to discuss the Assam-Bangladesh border issues. The Special Session has been convened following demands by the major Opposition parties of the State-the Asom Gana Parishad, BJP and the All India United Democratic Front to discuss the issue threadbare on the floor of the House.
