<span style="color: #222222;">In a major breakthrough, the SIT, CID Branch of Police Headquarter led by Deputy SP (Crime) busted a well organised racket team wherein fake Marksheets and other educational certificates of HSLC & HSSLC of students from Nagaland were been manufactured and used for commission of crime by gang of IT professionals based in Guwahati, Assam.<br />'' <br />'' After a month of reconnaissance and surveillance, the SIT apprehended three persons namely Mohbubur Rashid Choudhury alias Manoj Das, Rahul Sen alias Rajat Yadav and Jinna Razzakul Alom alias Mitul Alom from various locations in Assam. The prime accused Mohbubur Rashid Choudhury was arrested from Beltola, Guwahati while the other two were arrested from Kokhrajhar, Assam.<br />'' <br />'' Simultaneous raids were conducted in Beltola, Guwahati and Kokrajhar Assam and recovered various incriminating documents and evidence such as fake Marksheets, seals of high ranking officials of NBSE, cash, Laptops and various electronic equipment used in the commission of crime. The gang was operating under the name Career Today Nagaland and Edumart Naga.<br />''<br />''According to a press release from the SP, Crime, the case came to light when the matter was reported to PHQ by the Chairman of Nagaland Board of School Education. The accused are reportedly in the police custody and further investigation is on to unveil other accomplices involved in the case. The Police further advised the public to be wary of such scams as criminals are taking advantage of the prevailing pandemic for commission of similar online frauds. </span>
