In Assam, security forces today arrested 5 members of of National Democratic Front of Bodoland, NDFB, in Udalguri district.They are against holding talks to resolve the issues of concern. Supertendient of Police of Udalguri said that, acting on a tip off a joint team of police and army arrested the militants from Sagolijhar area under Paneri Police station. Local people also extended their support to the security men during the course of operation against the militants. All the arrested militants have been indulging in extortion and other anti-social activities. Six hand grenades and other ammunitions has also been recovered from the militants.
