Assam progressing in every sector under BJP led govt: PM Modi

<span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Assam State is progressing in every sector under the BJP led government both at Centre and State and emphasized that the continuity of the present government is necessary for the welfare of State.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He was addressing a gathering held in Chabua Assembly Consistency of Upper Assam.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking to the party workers, Mr. Modi said the welfare of the tea garden community of Assam and other welfare programs were successfully implemented by the BJP led Assam government.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He termed himself a 'Chaiwala'  and said a Chaiwala knows the sentiments and needs of tea garden workers and NDA government is committed to fulfill the rights of the tea workers.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Prime Minister said that the decision to increase the daily wages of tea garden has been held up due to some alliance of Congress party.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Narrating how the 'Double Engine Government' of BJP led government both at Centre and in the State has played crucial role in the progress of Assam State, Mr. Modi said that the government has developed the inland waterway connectivity in the State and constructed many bridges including longest brigde Bogibeell bridge.</span><br />'' <b><span style="color: #222222;"> </span></b><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The rally was attended by the Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal, MP of Dibrugarh and Union Minister of State for Food Processing Rameshwar Teli, and MLAs.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Assembly election of Assam will be held in three phases and the polls for the first phase will be held on coming 27 in 47 Assembly Constituencies spread across 11 districts.</span><br />''
