<span style="color: #222222;">In Assam, polls for the Guwahati Municipal Corporation will be held on 19th of April. Talking to newspersons in Guwahati today, State Election Commissioner Alok Kumar said that counting of votes will be held on 21st of next month. He said that polling will be held for 60 seats and out of which 50 percent seats will be reserved for women. Mr. Kumar mentioned that 30th of this month is the last day of filing of nomination and scrutiny of papers will take place on 1st of April. 4th of April is the last day of withdrawal of nomination papers.</span><br />
