In Assam, poll campaigning is gaining momentum in 64 constituencies of ASSAM where the final phase of elections will be held. While addressing election meetings and rallies, leaders of various political parties including the Congress, BJP, Asom Gana Parishad and the All India United Democratic Front AIUDF are making allegations and counter-allegations to garner support of voters. Meanwhile, senior Congress leader and Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said the party will not hesitate to take support of AIUDF to form a new government in the State. AIUDF has already announced not to support the BJP to form a government in the State.
