<span style="color: #222222;">In Assam, opposition parties staged a walkout from the assembly today alleging that  Chief Minister is trying to influence opposition legislators ahead of the Rajya Sabha polls. The entire opposition MLAs displayed placards in the house in favour of their demands.<br />''<br />'' They demanded the intervention of Speaker Biswajit Daimary to save the interests of the opposition legislators as well as democratic values.<br />''<br />'' After nearly 30 minutes of chaos, opposition MLAs walked out of the house. Later Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma urged the Speaker to give ruling if  Chief Minister could visit opposition MLAs house and if campaigning in Rajya Sabha polls is legitimate or not. Speaker Mr. Daimary said that there was no rule that Chief Minister could not visit opposition MLAs house. He also ruled that campaigning during Rajya Sabha polls are also allowed. Meanwhile, Congress leader Ripun Bora has filed a nomination for Rajya Sabha polls to be held on 31st of this month. BJP candidate Pabitra  Margherita and UPPL candidate Rangowra Narzary have filed nomination papers today. Polling will be held for 2 seats.</span><br />
