In Assam, state National Rural Health Mission in collaboration with WHO and UNICEF will launch Special Immunisation Drive for Measles today in seven districts.The aim of the programme is to vaccinate all children in the age group of 9 months to 10 years. More than 12 lakhs children of seven districts will be covered in this phase.The second immunisation campaign will begin from 11th November covering six districts.
