In Assam, no untoward incident has been reported during the last 36 hours in Bodoland Territorial Area Districts, BTAD . Curfew has been relaxed in Kokrajhar district for 15 hours from 6 am .But indefinite curfew continues in Chirang district as a precautionary measure.
Police detained 15 picketers at Bijni this morning when they were trying to block railway lines demanding the dissolution of Bodoland Territorial Council. A strict vigil is being maintained in the violence hit areas.
