In Assam, 22 militants today laid down arms before the army authorities at Dinjan army base in Tinsukia district. The surrendered ultras included four from National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB), eight from Karbi Longri N.C.Hills Liberation Front (KLNLF), nine from All Adivasi National Liberation Army (AALNA) and one from ULFA. They handed over one AK 56 rifle, one shot gun, 12 pistols, five revolvers, two grenades, 10 detonators and a large quantity of ammunition before the G-O-C Dah Division ,Major General B.S.Sachar.<br/>
