Assam has made remarkable progress on the implementation of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MG NREGA) and Indira Awas Yojna(IAY). State Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Mr. Rockybul Hussain said that, as many as 1.24 crore man-days were generated under MGNREGA up to September this year.
