The Budget Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly will begin at Dispur today. The opening Session will begin with the Address by the Governor Janaki Ballav Patnaik. There will be altogether 15 working days during the Session. Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, who is also holding the Finance portfolio, will present the State Budget for the year 2012-2013 in the House on 12th of this month. As many as 12 Government Bills are to be tabled in the House during the Session. They include six new Bills relating to education, water resources and administrative reforms.
