Union  Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah and party's National President J P Nadda arrived in Guwahati to take part in a host of events .  Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma , Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and other senior party leaders have welcomed them at Borjhar airport in Guwahati. Both the leaders  attended the party's state core committee meeting this evening.  <br />'' <br />'' On Saturday, both the leaders will inaugurate BJP's new state office at Basistha Chariali in Guwahati. The state of the art six storied Atal Behari Bajpayee Bhawan has all the modern amenities including conference and meeting hall. They will also interact with veteran party workers at the new office building.<br />''  <br />'' Later, they will address a rally of over 45 thousand party workers at Khanapara in Guwahati tomorrow. The Home Minister will also attend a conference tomorrow evening in Guwahati on how to prevent drug trafficking in the North East.  On Sunday, the Union Home Minister will address the North East Council session in Guwahati . Mr. Shah will later inaugurate a convention centre and annual SP conference at Dergaon .
