<span style="color: #222222;">In Assam, the Panchayat and Rural Development department has set up a war room in each Gram Panchayat of the state in its efforts to contain the spread of Covid-19. Talking to news persons in Guwahati today, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Ranjit Kumar Dass said that 304 gram panchayats and village councils are free from Covid in the state.  Mr. Dass also said that the war rooms set up in gram panchayats are working as the nodal points to fight against the pandemic. The Minister also said that several ministers, MPs and MLAs are involved in the Jan Andolan started by his department against the Covid-19  in the state.</span><br />
