The Assam government said in recruitment to the Assam Police the state will give preference to those youth who complete their four-year Agnipath Career.<br />'' <br />'' Welcoming the Agnipath scheme, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the Assam government has decided to accord priority to 'Agniveers' in recruitments in the Assam Police.  <br />'' <br />''He said that Agniveers will acquire enough military skill and arms training during their four-year stint. Mr. Sarma hoped that many youths from the state will join the Indian army as 'Agniveers'.
