<span style="color: #222222;">The Assam government has stressed on upgrading health infrastructure in the state to face the threat of the COVID-19. State Health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that 54 new ICU beds were inducted today at the Gauhati medical college. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said that another 50 ICU beds will be added within 15 days. Mr. Sarma said that 16 positive cases have been reported in Assam so far. On the other hand, Forest Minister Parimal Suklabaidya has appealed people not to hurt wild animals if they sneak into human habitants. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Suklabaidya said that there are reports that animals were roaming due to lockdown at some places. He appealed to people to report such incidents to the state control room instead of going after the wild animals.</span><br />
