The Assam Government has issued the Revision of Pay Rules (RoP) through a notification today. <br/><br/>As a result all the employees and pensioners of the State Government can now draw revised pay and arrear as per the provisions of Resolution on the Report of the Assam Pay Commission, 2008 and the Revision of Pay Rules, 2010.<br/><br/>Consequent to the issue of RoP, 2010, the Interim Relief shall be discontinued with effect from 1st February, 2010. Arrears with effect from 1st April, 2009 shall be deposited in the bank accounts of the employees in single instalment. <br/>
