<span style="color: #222222;">The Assam government has lifted weekend lockdown and night curfew. Chief Secretary Kumar Sanjay Krishna has said this in a tweet.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He however appealed the people to follow all the Covid-19 protocols.&nbsp; Earlier, the state government declared Saturday and Sunday lockdown across the state and night curfew in all the days.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Students of classes 9 to 12 are allowed to visit schools on a voluntary basis with written consent from parents for guidance from teachers.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Higher educational institutions are allowed to operate only for research and unavoidable laboratory and experimental work only on issue of necessary guidelines by the department of Higher Education.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Krishna said that public transport will be allowed to operate from September 7 with strict compliance of social distancing and other Covid-19 safety measures.</span><br />'' &nbsp;
