<span style="color: #222222;">The Assam government has included sanitary napkins and baby food in the list of flood relief materials. Talking to AIR, Principal Secretary in the Revenue and Disaster Management department Avinash Joshi said that the state government has given much emphasis for the welfare of women and children. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Joshi said that all the Deputy Commissioners have been told to provide child friendly space in relief camps. He said that for the first time baby foods and sanitary napkins are included in the relief list. Mr. Joshi further said that the Assam government has already given Rs 75 crore to the district administrations as advance to tackle flood situation. He said that sufficient funds are available under SDRF. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Joshi mentioned that NDRF teams are stationed at 8 places in the state to be deployed in rescue and relief works if required.</span><br />''
