The Assam government has expressed displeasure over the alleged indifferent attitude of the CRPF in handling the law and situation at Sarupathar area on Assam-Nagaland border in Golaghat. Sources in Assam Home Department said that the law and order situation is with the CRPF as the area was marked as neutral zone, where Naga miscreants indulge anti-social activities. Sources said that around 200 houses in Golaghat district were torched down by miscreants.
