The Assam government has declared Raimona and Dehing Patkai as national parks.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Talking to newspersons in Guwahati today, Forest Minister Parimal Suklabaidya said that notification in this regard to be issued today.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The Dehing Patkai national park is located at Upper Assam while the Raimona is situated at Bodoland Territorial Region.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Mr. Suklabaidya said that , the total number of national parks in Assam have increased to seven now.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The Forest minister said that following the declaration of national parks, the conservation process will be boosted and tourism sector is also be benefited.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The Dehing Patkai is the home to 47 mammal and 310 butterfly species while Raimona has 29 mammals species among others.</span><br />
