In Assam, fresh violence has been reported at Fakiragram, Salakati and Tatiamari area in Kokrajhar district last night. State Home Secretary said that miscreants resorted to firing at three places and also blocked roads to create difficulties for the security forces. Three people sustained injuries in the incident. The miscreants forced to flee when Police and security forces retaliated. Security has been beefed up at Fakiragram after the incident. Indefinate curfew continues in Chirang as a precautionary measure.
