<span style="color: #222222;">Assam Finance Minister Ajanta Neog has tabled 600 crore 36 lakh rupees &nbsp;deficit budget in the assembly today for the year 2022-23. The Finance minister has proposed 4 new schemes for road construction, upgradation and maintenance of all-weather roads, including those on embankments.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Ms. Neog said that the Assam Public Service Commission will fill up 13 thousand 572 Class III and 13 thousand 787 Class IV posts.&nbsp; In a bid to provide quality education in tea garden areas, &nbsp;117 Model High Schools to be made operational from 10th of May this year.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The budget also proposed to set up three new medical colleges at Sivasagar, Karimganj and Goalpara while 6 district hospitals to be upgraded to super specialty hospitals.&nbsp; The budget proposed to set up 1 thousand Buniyadi Swasthya Kendras in the state.&nbsp; The budget also earmarked 4000 crore rupees for Mukhya Mantri Souro Shakti Prokolpo to increase generation of clean energy by installing solar power generation plants. The budget also proposes to construct a 35 kilometer long elevated corridor for safe passage of animals from Kaziranga to Karbi Anglong.</span><br />
