Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured all help and cooperation to Assam as the state is facing one of the most devastating floods in recent times. Mr. Modi held a telephonic discussion with Chief Minister Sarbanand Sonowal today. Mr. Sonowal briefed him on relief, rescue and rehabilitation.  <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat will undertake aerial survey in Upper Assam tomorrow. Later, he will also hold a review meeting with senior Assam Government ministers and officials in Guwahati. Several ministers including Chief Minister Mr. Sonowal are visiting flood-affected areas. More than 27 lakh people have been affected in 28 districts in the current fury of floods.</span><br />
