In Assam, to help passenger travel to distant places from the flood-hit state, Northeast Frontier Railways, NFR, will be running special trains from Guwahati to other destinations including Silchar from tomorrow to 21st of this month. Rail services are fully operational in the State. <br/><br/>According to NFR sources, the Railway Minister has instructed officials to ensure that drinking water supply, medicines, healthcare facilities and food grain movement for the North East should be given a priority transportation by the Railways.
