<span style="color: #222222;">In Assam, Environment and Forest department is implementing an ambitious project of building a park by planting tree saplings of 1000 species.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Talking to AIR, Conservator of Forest in Eastern Assam circle Narayan Mahanta said that the project is in full swing in Upper Assam districts including Golaghat, Tinsukia among others.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports, the Sahitya Monikhi Upobons are spread across 3 hectare of land.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The project is being implemented under the CAMPA scheme.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Conservator of Forest in Eastern Assam circle Narayan Mahanta said that rare and endangered species including herbal, flowering, orchid , bamboo , medicinal saplings are being planted (BYTE).</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Mahanta hoped that this initiative would also be a boon for the conservation point of view.</span><br />
