<span style="color: #222222;">In Assam, the draft electoral roll has been published today in the state. The Chief Electoral Officer Nitin Khade informed that there are over 2 crore 24 lakh voters in the draft electoral roll. Out of the total voters, 1 crore 14 lakh are male voters.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Khade said that 34 percent increase of electors have been registered since the publication of the last electoral roll. The CEO appealed to all eligible Indian citizens who will be attaining 18 years on 1st January next as qualifying date to apply for registration as voters till 15th of next month.</span><br />
