<span style="color: #222222;">In Assam, the stage is set to hold the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, CPA mid-year executive committee meeting in Guwahati from tomorrow. Talking to AIR Correspondent, Speaker of the Assam Assembly Biswajit Daimary said that for the first time the CPA meeting will be held in India. <br />''<br />''He said that representatives of all 9 regions of CPA will take part in the 2-day event. Mr. Daimary said that Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will grace both the events along with other dignitaries.  <br />''<br />''AIR Correspondent reports that the CPA celebrated its centennial year in 2011 and has continued to develop the best traditions of the Commonwealth.<br />''<br />'' The CPA continued to be a natural school for members and officials of parliaments to learn their profession from each other. It may be recalled that after the end of CPA midyear executive committee meeting, the CPA India Region Conference will also be held in Guwahati on 11th and 12th of this month. </span><br />
