Assam Chief Minister Sarbanand Sonowal visited the Kaziranga national park today to take stock of the flood situation. Around 90 percent areas of the park are under water. Mr. Sonowal also met inmates in a relief camp and instructed the administration to provide all help.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Meanwhile, the flood situation has improved at some places as there was no rain in the past 12 hours.&nbsp;</span>Five persons lost their lives today as the death toll has gone up to 71 .&nbsp; Nearly 40 lakh people are affected in the current wave of floods in 27 districts.&nbsp;
