<span style="color: #222222;">Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has urged all the militant outfits of North East to shun violence and return to mainstream. Talking to newspersons at Baska district today, Mr. Sarma said that violence is not the solution to any problem. He said that several outfits have already returned to peace process and he expressed hope that the remaining groups of North East would too follow the same. The Chief Minister welcomed the declaration of extension of ceasefare by United Liberation Front of Asom- Independent (ULFA-I) Chief Paresh Baruah. He said that most of the militant outfits in Assam have already returned to mainstream and efforts are on to hold dialogue with Paresh Baruah.</span>
