<span style="color: #222222;">Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has said that his government fulfilled a poll promise by providing land patta to indigenous people of the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Talking to AIR, Mr Sonowal said that the state government has given land patta to 1 lakh families on 5th of this month.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Chief Minister said that no government had ever did this during last 70 years.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Sonowal said that the Assam government will ensure that no son of the soil will remain landless.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He asserted that his government is committed for the development of the indigenous people.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the support extended to Assam government in this endeavor.</span><br />
