Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today talked to Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over phone and apprised him about the incidents of gas explosion at oilfields in Baghjan, Tinsukia. He urged the Union Minister to take immediate remedial measures to assuage the situation. The Union Petroleum Minister assured of all possible support in this regard.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''The Chief Minister also talked to CMD of Oil India Limited Sushil Chandra Mishra over phone and discussed about the situation arising out of the gas explosion incidents. Mr. Sonowal urged the CMD  to take immediate steps to ensure safety of public health in the vicinity of oilfields explosion while stopping gas leakage at the earliest to prevent any further damage.</span><br />
