<span style="color: #222222;">In Assam, joy and excitement gripped the entire State today on the occasion of the Ram Temple consecration. Cultural processions were taken out in Guwahati, while live streaming was conducted at several places. Devotees offered special prayers at temples and naamghars on this occasion. People lit earthen lamps at their homes in the evening. All the government educational institutes were closed today. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and his cabinet colleagues also witnessed the event through live streaming. </span><br />
