<br/>In Assam, the post-harvest Bhogali Bihu festival is being celebrated across the State with religious fervour and traditional gaiety. The festival marks the advent of the Assamese month of Magha. Maghi Melas are being organized across the State where traditionally-produced items are exhibited. Traditional Bulbul bird fighting of Hajo in Kamrup district and the Buffalo fighting in Nagaon district are the main attractions of large numbers of people besides the tourists during this winter festival. AIR Guwahati correspondent reports that Magh Bihu is one of the great occasions that bring communal harmony and amity in the society.<br/>
