The Budget Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly will begin at Dispur today. The Session will continue till 20th of this month. The Assembly will meet for eight days during the Session. The State Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, who is also holding the Finance portfolio, will present the full Budget of the State Government for the year 2011-12 on the opening day of the Session today. AIR Guwahati Correspondent reports, as many as 12 Government Bills, including five new Bills on Health, Education, land and property rights are likely to be tabled in the House during the Session. The Assembly earlier passed Vote-On-Account for the first four months of the current financial year due to elections to the 13th Assam Assembly held in April this year.
