The meeting of the BJP Legislature Party in Assam will be held in Guwahati today to formally elect party's Chief Ministerial candidate Sarbananda Sonowal as its leader. <br/><br/>Mr Sonowal met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi last evening and discussed government formation in the state.<br/><br/>He asserted that his government will lay thrust on development of the state for the benefit of the people. <br/><br/>Our correspondent reports the new government will be sworn in on Tuesday in Guwahati in the presence of the Prime Minister, BJP President Amit Shah, Chief Ministers of NDA ruled states and several Union Ministers.<br/><br/>
