Talking to AIR News, Commissioner- Secretary in the Fishery department Rakesh Kumar said that during the Covid-19 pandemic period, the state has produced&nbsp;sufficient quantities of fish to fulfil the local needs.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Kumar said that youths who returned to the state from outside during lockdown are engaged in the fishery sector.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />''He said that Assam is exporting fish to other North Eastern states.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Kumar added that the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana would further help the state in fish production.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said that a cluster wise action plan is being prepared to implement the scheme in Assam.</span><br />'' &nbsp;
