Nine lakh homes were provided tap water supply in Assam in the last six months under Jal Jeevan Mission.&nbsp;Jal Shakti Ministry said, Centre is providing full assistance to Assam to achieve the goal of the mission. Speaking on the occasion, Ms Mahajan said, Jal Jeevan Mission is a decentralized, demand-driven, community-managed scheme which aims to improve the lives of rural people by providing clean tap water supply to every home.</span><br />
