<span style="color: #222222;">In Assam, 5 persons lost their lives during the last 12 hours due to COVID-19 in the state. Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that 4 of them succumbed to the disease at Gawahati medical college and hospital while another patient died at Tezpur medical college. The Minister informed that 588 new cases were detected in Guwahati city yesterday.The Guwahati city along with other parts of Kamrup Metro district is under 14 days lockdown since 29th of June.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Several districts have imposed bans on to and from journeys to Guwahati to prevent possible outbreak of community transmission.
