In Assam, the State Health Department said that if a person travels to any location outside but returns back to the state within 96 hours of departure, would not be required to undergo 10 days of quarantine. In an order issued by the Principal Secretary of the Health Department said that the person however needs to fulfil certain conditions that include his or her Rapid Antigen Test in return. The order further said that if the test result is positive, that person has to undergo home isolation or treatment as per protocol. Apart from that if the Rapid Antigen Test result is negative, the swab sample would be taken for RT-PCR test and he or she will have to stay in isolation till the declaration of RT- PCR test.<br />''<br />''<br />
