Asia's biggest Hockey tournament, the invitational Sultan Azlan Shah Cup at Ipoh, Malaysia, will tomorrow celebrate its Silver Jubilee with the start of its 25th edition. The tournament has also been an annual feature in the International Hockey Federation's calendar since 1998.An opening ceremony tomorrow will exhibit a montage tribute to the Late Sultan Azlan Shah of Perak, the ninth King of Malaysia, whose association with the game of hockey is epitomised in numerous ways. An 18-member Indian team led by Sardar Singh will take part in the silver jubilee edition of the tourney. The Sultan Azlan Shah Cup will serve as a barometer to measure the team's preparation for the Rio Olympics few months down the line. Besides India, New Zealand, Australia, Pakistan, Japan, Canada and hosts Malaysia will be taking part in the annual tournament which will conclude on April 16.
