India's medal tally in the second Asian Youth Games at Nanjing, China has gone up to 11 which includes three gold, three silver, five bronze. Anjana Dhavalu Thamake clinched the third gold while Abhishek Pal bagged the 5th bronze for the country. Anjana won the girl's 800 metres race clocking a personal best of two minutes 11.47 seconds, while Abhishek clocked 8 minutes 45 seconds in the 3000 metre race.Earlier yesterday India also picked up a silver when Rochelle Macfarlane Maria came second in the girls' triple jump. The men's squash team also assured India of at least a silver by reaching the semi-finals. India presently holds the ninth spot in the medal standings.
