Asian Stocks today closed with gains. Japan's Nikkei-225 climbed 1.6 percent. Both South Korea's Kospi and Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.8 percent each. China's Shanghai Composite index gained 0.4 percent and Singapore's Straits Times index added 0.3 percent.
 
The positive sentiment was also reflected in European Markets. London's FTSE-100 gained 0.6 percent, France's CAC-40 rose 0.9 percent and Germany's DAX was trading 1.6 percent up when reports last came in.
