Asian share markets ended mixed. Japan's Nikkei-225 rose 0.6 percent and Singapore's Straits Times added marginally by 0.1 percent. On the other side, Hong Kong's Hang Seng plunged two percent, China's Shanghai Composite index declined 1.3 percent and South Korea's Kospi fell 0.9 percent.
 
European markets were down in intra-day trade. London's FTSE-100, France's CAC-40, and Germany's DAX were trading around 0.2 percent down.
