The Asian market ended mixed today. China's Shanghai Composite index surged 1.8 percent while Hong Kong's Hang Seng gained 1.2 percent and South Korea's Kospi index rose 0.5 percent. However, Japan's Nikkei-225 declined 0.7 percent and Singapore's Straits Times index fell 0.3 percent.

European Markets were trading in positive territory in intra-day trade. London's FTSE-100 surged nearly 1 percent while Germany's DAX added 0.1 percent and France's CAC-40 advanced 0.2 percent.
